This lesson walks you through progressive exercises to build fluency with diatonic triads in major keys: scale-thirds arpeggios, I–IV–V and ii–V–I patterns, playing without staff notation, and transposing to unfamiliar keys. Each step removes visual aids and increases difficulty to strengthen your ability to think in Roman numerals and navigate common jazz changes. Exercises include targeted progressions, longer sequences, and rhythmic variations, and are intended to be practiced in all 12 keys.
