This lesson teaches a practical approach to chromatic enclosures (one from below, two from above, one from below) and how to plan target notes ahead of time while soloing. Ariel demonstrates the B–A–A–B enclosure applied to various targets (thirds, 11ths, 9ths, 13ths) and with two-note pickups over the changes of Blues For Alice. Included are two solo PDFs (one fully notated, one showing only targets), plus slow and fast call-and-response backing tracks for practice at different tempos.
